HIV/AIDS

The goal of the HIV/AIDS Ministry is to enhance the social and spiritual life of the individuals infected with HIV/AIDS, to help them recognize their own self-value and realize that God has not forsaken them. Members provide social, emotional and spiritual support to people living with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones. The ministry also promotes HIV/AIDS awareness, works with Lowcountry AIDS Services, provides a safe place where those living with HIV/AIDS can share their stories, and encourages them to become peer examples teaching others that this disease does not define one's self-worth, but that all are loved children of God. The ministry coordinates with the pastor and other ministries for any special considerations.
