Prison

The Prison Ministry seeks to comfort those in need in correctional facilities or in transition back to mainstream society. Team members write letters, visit halfway houses, visit prisons, collect reading material, and reach out to affected families. The ministry may work with related organizations. An inmate's understanding of the Word of God is a crucial part of his or her recovery back as a law-abiding citizen.

Members who visit facilities or families should dress appropriately in order to project a better image of the ministry and the church.
