We will have a Church Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 10 beginning at 9:00 am. Please help us spruce up God's house and yards to get ready for Pastor Terri's Installation Service on Saturday, May 17. The Church Board meeting now takes place on the second Tuesday of every month effective May 13. For more information please contact the church office at 843-760-6114 or mccchadmin@knology.net. Our Pastor Installation Service will take place at the church on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 pm. Special guests will take part in this event. A reception in Moore Hall will follow after the service. For more information please contact the church office at 843-760-6114 or mccchadmin@knology.net. Our next Inquirer's Class will take place after the worship service on Sunday, June 1. This class is open to all who are interested in learning more about our church and our denomination. No commitment to membership is required after attending this event. The first North American Convocation will take place from Thursday through Sunday, September 4-7 in New Orleans. This event is a conference to be attended by many members of LGBT-friendly Christian organizations, including MCC, and is open to all. Topics to be discussed include social justice for the LGBT community. More details will follow as they become available. Optional pre-conference events include a RainbowCorps and field trips, and start on Wednesday, September 3. For more information please visit the event website. The MCC Region 3 Sub-Regional Gatherings will take place in three locations this year. They provide opportunities for training, networking and spiritual renewal. A musical worship service will begin each gathering at 7:30 pm on the respective Friday. The all-day Saturday session will include a plenary, workshops, and more worship services. Registration is $25.00. More details as they become available will follow on this website or through your local church communications.

Lowcountry AIDS Services has a series of activities planned for those who are stricken with or have an interest in learning about HIV/AIDS. LAS is a nonprofit Charleston area based AIDS services organization comprising of a staff and many volunteers.
